What does '13.5 oz' refer to?  It refers to the weight of the garment and how heavy it is.  A 14 oz hoodie is considered to be on the heavier side for hoodies. Hoodie weights can range from light (around 6-8 oz), medium (around 9-12 oz), to heavy (13 oz and up).
